1. Baking the cake
There’s quite a bit of prep in getting everything ready, but once you’re prepared it’s very quick to put everything together.
TIP: Make sure you have pre-heated the oven
After 1 hr and 20 mins the cake is ready. Depending on your depth and size of tin as well as the temp you bake at your timings may vary.
2. Paul Hollywood’s - cream cheese frosting
In this lesson you’ll need:
50g butter
200g philadelphia cheese (full fat)
100g icing sugar
Zest from one orange
3. Nigella Lawson’s - cream cheese frosting
In this lesson you’ll need:
175g butter
200g philadelphia cheese (full fat)
215g icing sugar
4. Gemma’s Bigger Bolder Baking - cream cheese frosting
120g butter
480g philadelphia cheese (full fat)
300g icing sugar
Vanilla essence
5. Putting them together
To finish Paul and Nancy apply the cream and add decorations.
6. Taste test
Paul and Nancy taste all 3 finished toppings and give their verdict on which one they think is best.
