Alpa Boll of Simply Alpa is a cake designer specialising in bespoke wedding and celebration cakes. Working from her studio in the beautiful village of Loosley Row overlooking the Chiltern Hills in Buckinghamshire she lives with her husband and two boys.

Best known for her painted birds, detailed piped work and sugar flowers, Alpa does not shy away from using colour, texture and intricate detail to create her masterpieces. She has won several awards and enjoys pushing her skills and trying new techniques. Her unique style includes creating elegant, classic cakes with a modern touch. Clients are taken through a design process where a unique cake will be created perfect for their special occasion, a centrepiece to the day that will have guests talking about the cake long after it has been devoured!

Now in her new studio she is also looking forward to teaching private classes in her spare time and sharing her knowledge and passion for sugarcraft.
