• Shape the sole using a former
• Create the heel to match the shoe

Lesson 4 –  Back of the shoe

Demo: 5 mins    Activity:  15 mins

• Either freehand or using cutters cut out the desired shape for the heel
• Have a go with some different shapes to get the one you like
• Add to the shoe then leave to set

• Using (or create) a template just smaller than the insole of the shoe
• Cut out the shape

Lesson 6 –  Decorating the Shoe

Demonstrate different styles to decorate the shoe including:

• Decorative stripes
• Broches and variety of decorations
• Choose which suits the shoe best

• Measure the size of lid required and cut out the shape
• The tricky part of this design is getting the lid to fit neatly
