I have a couple of questions regarding the covering on the dummy of the Christmas fairy castle.

For the dried out sugarpaste crushed in a blender can gumpaste be used instead with same affect?
How long would this last when exposed. Would it last about 6 to 8 weeks or is that too soon ?

Dried out gumpaste or sugapaste will be fine. If the gumpaste is really hard, process a little at a time to prevent the machine from becoming stressed.
The crushed texture will last for months if not a couple of years as long as it is stored in a cool dry place.
