Covering a board

Every time I cover a board in advance it looks good at first. But when it dries it seems to crack at the edges. Is it best to cover board just before cake goes on it .

Hi Karenroberts

After icing the board try rubbing a tiny amount of Trex along the edges and let it dry as normal. The Trex will help prevent cracking as the icing begins to dry. There will be no residue or taste, the Trex will simply be absorbed by the icing.

Hope the suggestion helps when you next ice your board. 🙂
