Mostly the answer is no because the moisture the sugar paste would absorb will make it very sticky and probably unusable. However, Squire’s kitchen say their paste can be frozen. One of the reasons decorated cakes can not be placed in the fridge is because of moisture issues, so I guess it depends on which sugar paste you are using.
Perhaps other members will comment with their own experience.

Sugarpaste has a long shelf life so no need to freeze

apparently massa ticino is freeze stable?? i can get some out of date by about 2 months.
