Hi,

Sorry to be a pain but any chance a list of ingredients could be added to the Mountain Scene Cake. I’m new to all of this and not too sure what size cake and drum to get or quantities of icing.

First of all you’ll need a 10″ round cake of your choice, Paul is using a toffee cake I think. If you need a toffee cake recipe put in the search box ‘toffee cake’. The rest is as follows:

14″ round cake drum
1.5 metres, 15mm wide ribbon of your choice, you can double check the amount from your decorating supply shop but I think that is about right with a little left over.

1.5k Lincoln green sugarpaste to cover the cake and board.
250g dark green sugar paste for the trees
50g blue with a little white for the water
60g grey and a little black for the rocks, or you could just make the grey by colouring some white sugar paste and run a small amount of the black through it to marble it.
60g brown for the dog with a little left over for the man’s boots.
60g black for the trousers and any bits which require black eg sheep’s face and hooves.
40/50g red for the man’s top and any other bits which requires red
40g teddy bear brown or flesh coloured paste which you could just make up by colouring white sugar paste with ivory or paprika colour paste.
50m white for the sheep

You will also need a set of PME tools like the ones Paul is using and he names each tool as he uses it. Additionally you’ll need a garlic press to make the sheep fur.
