Paul’s moist chocolate cake
Hi, I am planning to bake Paul’s chocolate cake in an 8″ cake pan. I have used the calculator which is super helpful but it doesn’t say how long to bake the cake for. Has anyone baked the cake in an 8″ cake pan before and can advise? Thanks,

Hi Karen
In my old fan oven it used to bake for the full two hours on 130c. I used to place a sheet pan on the shelf above to protect the surface from getting heat blasted. Haven’t tried in my new oven yet. I would give it between 1hr 30 mins – 1hr – 45 mins. All ovens vary so do keep a careful eye and nose on it.
