Hi. Just wondering, when you put real roses on a cake, what steps do you have to do to make them safe for on a cake. Sorry, I have never put real flowers on a cake, so not sure how to go about it.

Unfortunately, it isn’t as straight forward as it appears. To be on the safe side it’s best not to offer fresh flowers on cakes. When I was doing cakes I would ask the client to seek advice from their florists. It’s best to get written confirmation that they take full responsibility for any arrangements they make with the third party. This is to safeguard yourself.
