Soft ganache filling for cakes

What is the ratio chocolate to cream for a softer ganache used for filling between layers? Thank you.

Hi AnnieLaurie

It depends on the type of chocolate you are using.
For dark chocolate with over 60% cocoa solids a1:1 ratio works well. For below that use slightly more chocolate .

For White chocolate 2:1 ratio works well.
