Tiered cake

Is red velvet cake strong enough to be a tiered wedding cake iced and flowers on etc

I've replied to your question on the course page, but just in case anyone else has anything to add I'll re-post here.

'Red Velvet tends to be a lighter sponge than some of the more dense mud cake styles we use. I would suggest using it in the lower tiers, supported by Paul’s 9 dowel method. This way the card / cake drum and dowels take the support strain.'
