Hi i have a container of double cream unopened and continuously kept in the fridge but its 4 days past its use by date. Can i still use it. Seems a shame to chuck it!

What I normally do is smell and taste it, and if it smells and tastes fine, I use it. I wouldn’t use it on any project which would take it beyond the opening day. ?
