3 Peaks Cake

Are the 4″ cakes required in any of the peaks since they are listed in the ingredients?

Also please could you suggest which sized cards should be used between the tiers for the 3 foot white chocolate cake wrap cake.

Many Thanks

Hello dweshah

I don’t know where the 4″ cakes would be required unless you’re making the 3 foot white all with cake.
Paul gives the cake breakdown as follows for the tallest cake:
2 x 8″ cakes
2 x 7″ cakes
2 x 6″ cakes
He has used dummy cakes to complete the height. I guess if you were making the rest from cake the next tier would be either 2 x 5″ or 2 x 4″ to start the tappering and finishing off with a small cone.
I should think the cards between tiers for the existing cakes would be:

1 x 8″
2 x 6″
2 x 4″
and I’m guessing the a 5″ cake would have a 4″ card and the 4″ cake would have a 2″ card.

The milk wrap is made from 2 x 7″ 2 x 6″ 2 x 5″ cakes. The cards are 1 x 7″ 2 x 6″ and 2 x 4″ the height is gained from the cone. No mention of a 4″ cake for this wrap.
The very small cake is made fro 2 x 6″ cakes only, and the height again made from cone.
