I’m looking to make a 3D mickey mouse cake for my nephew and was wondering if anyone had any tips or advice on how to do it. Was thinking of using the bear cake templates to get started but not sure how to shape the mouth

Hi, I’ve been asked to make a similar cake and wondered if you managed to make yours and how did it turn out? How did you make the head and face? Do you have any tips? I was going to. Also.i was going to make the body using the teddy bear cake templates aswell.

Hi it went pretty well. The only thing I found difficult was getting shape of the mouth so it was just a matter of trial and error. The only tip I would give is give yourself plenty of time and use ganache. I used buttercream and it got a bit messy. Hope this helps. Let me know how you get on.
