Has Paul used straight sugarpaste for the models or has he added gum trag or Tylo powder?

no think he used straight sugar paste- he usually says if he adds anything. He quite often works without it.

I don’t think he has, can’t say I’ve seen him kneading anything into the fondant, but I guess it’s optional. I always have to add a little gum trag to my figures, they sag if I don’t. Should have seen my Merida figure, she had a dowager’s hump!! x
