buttercream piping on top of fondant
Hi.
In the Teddy Bear Cake, Paul seems to be piping with the star tip on top of the fondant covered Teddy.
That surprised me. I didn’t think that buttercream could be piped on top of fondant.
I’ve only seen the promo so far, but could you confirm that that is what he is doing?

Yes the teddy cake is being piped with fudge buttercream on top of the sugarpast. The paste helps to hold the teddy together and isn’t affected by buttercream. Paul explains the reasons behind this in the tutorial.
