Buttercream quantity for different sized cakes.

Hi,

I need to make buttercream for 10″ and 12″ square cakes for my husbands birthday,

I checked wiltons icing amounts and it said i need 6 cups and 7.5 cups of icing for the cakes.

How do I know the exact amounts of butter and icing sugar that would make 13.5 cups of icing?

Is there a table that converts these two? or a way I can know how much buttercream I need to make to be enough for the two cakes.

Thanks
