cake batter

Hi can you please tell me ( 10,8,6 wedding cake ) if a can make one batch of batter
Then devide between the cake tins? Or is it best to do them
Seperate? All ways learning traven xe

Hello raven

Only if you can bake all the cakes at the same time. If you let the batter sit around it will not rise as much or sometime not at all depending on how long it has been left out. The leavening which helps the cake batter to rise is activiated once wet. It’s better to get the cakes in the oven as soon as the mixture is poured into the cake pans.
