Hi Paul

On the premium plan do you have cake cutting templates that go along side the calculator. I have struggled to find one on line that shows how to cut the 7 inch cakes so that you get the 38 portions for a 1×1 slice. thanks Lesley

Hi Lesley

There isn’t a cutting guide on the site. However, the easiest way to cut a round cake into 1”x1” portions is to treat it like a square cake and cut the portions out in a grid.

If you google Avalon cakes cutting guide, download her free 7” cake guide and divide that grid in half to give 38 portions.

If the cake is tall, you’ll get more portions. Remember also, not everyone will eat cake.
