I have always used Invicta 3″ deep cake tins but recently purchased some 4″ anodised aluminium tins.

Is there a formula/calculation to adjust a recipe to fit the deeper tins.

To increase the depth of a recipe from 3″ depth to 4″ depth multipy each ingredient by 1.3.
