Cake dilemma
Hi I have been asked to make a 14 inch square cake only have a 12 inch tin can anybody advise the best way to go about achieving this I have other size tins

Hi Alicain
It can be done by two methods.
Method 1
Make 2 x 10″ cakes. Divide the second cake into 2 x 10″ x 4″ slabs to increase the the size and use the remaing 2″ strip to fill the missing corner.
Method 2: Make 4 x 7″ cakes and place them together
