caramel sauce layered cake

hiya im doing a rolo cake but wanted to make a chocolate sponge with caramel sauce layered through the cake then covered in ganache, is their a good recipe for the caramel sauce so it’s not to stiff with a nice softness when cutting the cake please xxx
