CelBoard

Thinking of treating myself to a grooved Celboard, just starting out making flowers & leaves etc, is this a good investment or an extravagant tool!!!! Is it easy enough to attached wire without it??

Thanks

Hi ashandiamo

I don’t have a Cel board ( getting one in the next few days). I think they are worth the money if you intend on creating lots of flowers. I used one several years ago on a flower making course, and yes it did make threading the wire through much easier. You’ll get lots of other answers, so you’ll have a good selection of advice and opinions to base your decision on. xx

Hi ashandiamo

I ordered mine from Party Animals online on ebay. There’s a set of two one small 195mm x 125mm and 250mm x 195mm, it also comes with a grip pad which can be cut to size. This set costs £9.69 which I didn’t think was too extravagant a treat as I’ve been looking at them for ages. I think there is a single one there as well, but the double pack is better value. When you find the site, the boards come under the category of CelCake, listed on the left hand side of their page. Hope you find it.

OOps just had a look at the celboards, seems my hubby has ordered two boards. I thought they were a pack but not so. There is select product arrow and the price of the two sizes comes up. So looks like I’m being treated to both!  He’s only two weeks late for my birthday!!!
