my cakes are never dead in the center…i have measured the board and still they end up one sided…..

When I place my cakes I spend time making sure they are centred. I put all my cakes on a thin cardboard cake board then use a large cake lifter to help place the cake onto the cake drum. Once I’m happy with the placement I just remove the lifter. I’ve found that it helps doing it that way rather than using the pick up and drop method.
