Chocolate Madeira Cake – Quantities

Hi, Looking for some advice. I’ve been asked to do a chocolate cake in a few weeks and the recipe I use is just a normal madeira sponge. If I’m adding cocoa powder do I substitue some of the flour or just add as extra? I’ll probably do a 10″ square which normally uses 700gms of S/R flour.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Donna

I was looking for an answer to the same question. I’m making a 7″ round cake though,so now I’ll need to work out the measurements for the ingredients. Mathematics was never my strongest point 🙁
