Hello! Has anyone else tried making the chocolate shard cake? I’ve tried making a two tier version, and it looks really strange, but I can’t put my finger on what’s wrong with it! I’m wondering if it’s because the design would only really work on a taller cake? Any advice would help, because otherwise I’m looking at throwing away two tiers of cake 🙁

No! don’t throw the cakes away, use a couple of extra cake drums to elevate what you have and use a top tier dummy to give more height. Better than throwing away all your hard work. xx
