Chocolate silk

Can you use chocolate silk for the chocolate wrap cake . Or is it possible to use a mix of sugar paste and cocoa form.

Hi Kathy

I’ve never used chocolate silk so don’t know how it sets. It is made of 100% chocolate sugarpaste and may be fine. I know Paul says in the tutorial he prefers to use the modelling chocolate because it holds it’s structure,sets quickly and of course is lovely to eat. I use half and half for covering cakes which works really well.
