Chocolate Wrap cake using fondant?
Hello, I’ve made Paul’s chocolate wrap a few times and has always turned out beautifully thanks to his great tutorial…
Has anyone made this using fondant rather than modelling chocolate? Customer wants this kind of cake but in white rather than the white chocolate which is obviously cream in colour. Imagine I would need to add CMC to the fondant to help it keep shape once on the cake.

You could try it with sugarpaste with added tylose, however I don’t think it would keep that lovely shape. It will also be very heavy and probably not as nice to eat. I know other members have asked this question before, just type in the search box ‘ chocolate wrap’ you may come across some answers. Hope this helps.
