coating on the dummie for covering in fondent

hi before covering the dummie with fondent what is best to use so the fondent sticks to it

Hi annabel

You can either cover the dummy with a thin coating of marzipan or fondant and then ice with a normal thickness of icing. Brush vodka with pastry brush to moisten either meduim for your fondant to stick. Alternatively you can apply shortening all over the dummy and then ice the dummy in the normal way.
