Does anyone know where you can buy dark coloured rice paper sheets Such as black and purple. I can find pinks, yellows etc but nothing dark.

Unfortunately in the UK suppliers are not manufacturing hot and dark colours. I made enquiries with makers last year and was told that they are working towards these colours. Bright and dark colours are made overseas and can sometimes be seen on ebay although I haven’t spied any lately. There are lots of black and purple ready cut decorations but not sheets. If you have a airbrush you could try gently misting the colours. You’d have to be very careful not to get the rice paper too wet as it will disintegrate.
It’s also possible to use PME colour spray glaze as Paul did in the pirate ship tutorial however I don’t think PME makes the darker colours.
