Please can someone help, I have had an order for 16th birthday cake and they want no
Cream or anything so how to I get icing perfect without using a crumb coat?
Hope someone can help with this

They don’t want a filling either? nothing in the middle? If that’s the case you won’t have many crumbs when the cake is taken out of the pan. Stick the cake down on a board same size as the cake and ice with a thin layer of sugarpaste to act as an undercoat, let it dry. This will form a a smooth base for the cake to be iced as normal.
Follow Paul’s tutorials for icing cake drum and cake placement. I Hope I’ve understood your question properly, if not please post again.

You could use piping gel to get it to stick they wouldn’t know it doesn’t have flavour
