Hi, I have three Christmas fayres coming up where I am going to be selling cupcakes. Problem is, I have absolutely no idea how many I should make!!!! Did one last year and can’t remember how many I made, think it was about 60 and they sold out quite quickly. Any advice gratefully received!!

Can you remember how long it took you to sell out last year? Was it a whole day event or a few hours?
I would think 60 – 100 would be too little if it’s a whole day affair but only you can judge from the kind of attendance the fayres attract and of course what you’ll be charging for each cupcake. I have no idea what Christmas fayres are like but I have made cupcakes and cakes for charity events, usually make 100 cupcakes and approx four large cakes for five hour events depending on charity.

Hi, have just sold out 60 in 40 minutes, so think I will have to make a few more for Sunday as it’s an all day affair!!!
