Edible cupcake topper template?

Hi everyone…..SANTA brought me a new printer, and edible ink to play with!….how kind!….my question is…..I am managing fine printing pictures, logos etc….but how do I get the wee circles for cupcake toppers?….you know the ones that are about a dozen to a page?….do you buy edible icing sheets with the circles already on, then make a template to save on your computer?…or is there software?…..totally clueless……

Merry Xmas to you all……happy baking and printing xx

Hi Mrscloudy1

Merry Christmas! how lovely for Santa to bring you such a useful present. Now you can do all your own printing! Take a peek here for the blank circle toppers

Have fun playing! xx

EDIT

Oooops I didn’t answer the last part of your question! You can get lots of free templates online so I guess you just download them and print on the blank icing circles.

Thank you…have just had a wee look…..so…do I assume then….I could scan one of the icing sheets and make a word document so that when I am putting the images in the circles on the pc…..the spacing should be the same when I put the sheet in the printer?……don’t think my usual supplier need worry yet about losing my business!……x

I’m not really sure how that would be done, but I just asked my hubby and he says usually you are fine doing that. Sometimes you have to adjust the size. You can also download these templates as jpegs, bitmaps, html or other file types. These might be more flexible than word documents.
If you look at the bottom right hand corner of the link which I gave, there is a chat box where you could pose your question, they may be able to make other suggestions. I’m sure other members will be able to give you the benefit of their experiences too. Have a little play and see what you come up with. How great for you, a new learning experience!! Would love to know how you progress with it. x
