Welcome to the Cake Decorators Q&A

Hi could use a little help, I have to do a square exploding parcel cake and was wondering the best way to do the exploding part on the top where the icing looks like it has peeled back outwards and its all the little triangles pointing upwards and outwards.  I made a cake like this before but I wasn’t happy with that part so any tips would be greatly appreciated.
