Face Book

Hi everybody
I in March I set up a face book page selling cakes, I have just had a message from a man who has his own cafe and is enquiring if I would be interested providing him with cup cakes at wholesale price and he is looking at selling them for £1.50 each. He also wants me to provide a portfolio for celebration cakes. A little unsure as it is a face book page and I don’t at the moment have a trade account . Please could anybody advise.

Hi Julie

Take a look at member doodlecake’s answer to a similar question here:

Wholesale cake costs

If he is going to sell them for £1.50 each, how much does he want you to charge him? did he make any kind of indication? You’ll be doing all the work so the price must reflect that.
I hope members who are in business will advise you better than I can. I’m not in business. Doodlecake’s answer makes a lot of sense.
If you type in the search box ‘cupcake’ you’ll see a few cupcake price related answer.
If you haven’t already found it, search box opens when you click on the white magnifying glass next to the big white words community Q & A.
Hope this helps.
