Hi annie

This tutorial was a one to one and is not in the main learning library. However, you can use the chocolate cottage tutorial http://www.cakeflix.com/online-cake-decorating-courses/chocolate-cottage as a guide on how to carve the top section of the castle. The steps can be made of graduating blocks of fondant or blocks or cake. All the other little details can be made as impressions rather than something realistic.
The fairy castle cake tutorial here http://www.cakeflix.com/online-cake-decorating-courses/fairy-castle would also be helpful as a guide.

I’m not sure I really understand your question, I made a castle cake recently after watching Paul’s tutorial and printing out a photo tut from another site, you can see the cake here…………….. http://www.blipfoto.com/entry/3250659
Do you mean carving as in cutting?
You will first need to strip away the towers (at least from the front) and any large pieces of fondant and then cut like a regular cake……..

Your daughter will love her cake, there’s something very special about a castle cake 🙂
