Firming buttercream without ganache for family members who don’t like chocolate!!
Is there any way to harden buttercream without using ganache? Not sure about using trex .
Someone mentions using royal icing sugar instead of plain. Birthday girl doesn't like chocolate.
Certainly Royal icing sugar can be used to firm up buttercream as it contains dried egg whites. It can be used in same quantites as normal icing sugar. The only thing to be aware of is that it will not be vegan friendly.
