Hi, I was wondering if there is another way to make vains in the flowers without the board Paul uses?

Some people don’t bother at all and just insert the wire without a vein. If you do that, I would suggest rolling the bottom of the leaf very slightly thicker just enough to start the wire off into the paste. Can be a bit fiddly threading the wire up the leaf without the vein guide. You could also use PME leaf and blossom plunger cutters which come already embossed with a vein.
