Fondant discs on top of cupcakes
I like to work with fondant and florist paste on top of my cupcakes and
Normally cover the whole cake with fondant, but I like the look of fondant
Discs that go on top of piped buttercream that you can then put small models on top
Can you give me any advice on making these discs?

You can use cookie cutters or the stainless steel geometric cutters which come in their own round tins. Have a look also at Paul’s cupcake tutorials for some lovely ideas.
