hello I am making a football boot and a high heel for a joint birthday how many 10″ cakes do I need for both shoes to give good height? thank you

Are you making both boots in the football boot tutorial? If you are click on the ingredients tab under the video and you’ll see that you need a 10″ square cake, here’s the link for the tutorial:

Which high heel shoe are you making?
For Marcia Brown’s shoe and handbag tutorial you need a 12″ sponge for the bag. Cake is not required for the making of the shoe. Here is the link for the tutorial:

If you want to make the Jimmy Choo shoe box and shoe you will need an 8 x 10″ cake

The open toe sandal tutorial is displayed on a cake drum so you could make what ever size cake you wanted. Here is the tutorial for sandal:

All the cake heights I believe are 3″, by the time the layers have been filled the cake will be taller and will look the same as in the tutorials.

hello thanks for reply, I am only doing one football boot and I have found a lovely shoe boot online which im going to attempt to transform into cake! ahaa was hoping to get both the footie boot and heel from one 10″ cake but think I may do a 12″ to be safe?
