Hi Baker06

Paul has templates under the tutorial video which will help with the carving. If I haven’t understood your question correctly please could you post again to say how you are confused. I’ve only had a look at sections of the tutorial so I’m not completely clear about it myself.

Ya I know templates are there thats why am asking first two chapters should be little easy for us to follow since Paul is making templates in those or we need something else to watch for in first two chapters?

Secondly where he is sculpting the cake..he is putting many pieces here and there and its seeming me like jigsaw puzzle so cant it be done with single piece of cake for each layer and sculpting into shape?

Paul is creating the templates in the first two lessons so that we can see how he is following the contours of the car. There are many components to the vehicle. By watching Paul cut them out makes it more clear where each piece belongs once we download the templates. You don’t have to watch it but it’s good idea to see how it’s done and where all the pieces belong once the car is being assembled.
Carving the main body of the car begins in lesson 4. This is where the basic shape is achieved and the rest is done as Paul goes along. You’re right it is a bit like a jigsaw but all the pieces are there to slot together.
The car requires two cakes to make the length and shape but if you want to make it smaller you could scale down the templates so they fit on to one cake.
