Giant cupcake flavouring
Hi all,
I have been asked to make a giant cupcake for a birthday party.
I was thinking of doing a vanilla cupcake with white chocolate fingers around the bottom and white chocolate rose swirls for the top.
Do you think that all this white chocolate will be to sickly for the cake??

White chocolate can be quite sickly but not if you cut the sweetness by using a tart filling like lemon curd or raspberry jam. I’ve never made a giant cupcake and don’t know whether they have to be sliced and filled like a regular cake. For normal cupcakes I use this piping nozzle http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BISMARK-FILLING-CUPCAKES-ICING-NOZZLE-PIPING-TUBE-TIP-CAKE-DECORATING-SUGARCRAFT-/200914702443 to inject the filling in. Other than that I think your design sounds really lovely. x
