Hello kavoddesignercakes

Gluey fondant can be caused by moisture or humid conditons. If the fondant is fine before covering the cake, there may be moisture or dew on the cake coming through and softening the icing. Before covering the cake don’t over moisten the ganache or buttercream crumbcoat. The surface of the cake should just be tacky enough for the icing to adhere but not to make it sticky or gluey. It can sometimes happen if the venue is too warm. Keep your cakes well ventilated to allow the fondant to firm up.

Hope this helps.

Thank you very much and I will watch out. I think may be it is the butter cream underneath the fondant. Thanks once more
