golf bag cake

Hi, I am making a golf bag cake that is sat upright at a 45 degree angle! Any advice on how to stack this? I was planning on carving 6″ rounds and mounting this to the angle upright with hot glue (between boards). Do you think that the cake will move down with the weight? I have seen this done with a huge guitar cake and mines only 12″ long.

Any help/advice greatly appreciated

Hello lilypond

You might understand the discussion in this forum http://cakecentral.com/t/611143/3d-standing-golf-bag-fondant-slippage-possible
You may be able to modify some of the methods used there. For more information google ‘golf bag cake’.
Sorry can’t help more.
