Handle on polka dot handbag cake
i recently made the polka dot handbag cake and it came out lovely! The only problem was, when I tried to feed the wires through the sugar paste for the handle it was difficult,as the sugar paste kept squashing up and it was difficult to do. Is there another way to do this?

I had the same problem with handles. I found rolling the wire in with the sugar paste worked better for me. Just flatten the sugar paste a little, lay the wire on it and start rolling it into a sausage shape until the desired length.
Trim off at the ends, shape and let set. Wet the wire first to help it stay stuck, if the exposed ends dry off while rolling just wet them slightly as you roll along.
