I have some leftover royal icing and wondered how long it will keep for.

I have some leftover royal icing and wondered how long it will keep for.

You can keep it for 1 week or up to 2 weeks.
Icing made with raw egg whites needs to be kept in the fridge, however, icing made with meringue powder can be kept at room temperature. I store mine in air-tight or re-usable yoghurt containers.
