Hi sallylewis

There are several answers on the site to help if you type in the search box ‘fondant cracking’ you will see three separate inquiries. Hope this helps.

Hi Sally, sometimes it can also be the sugarpaste. I’ve recently had a problem with a particular batch of Dr Oetker (best before Jan 14) which is far too soft. I’ve also heard of lots of people complaining about Tesco sugarpaste since they changed the recipe!
