Kenwood Prospero KM283

Hi
I currently have a Kenwood Titanium Major, but is very big for my small kitchen. I am looking to get a slightly smaller machine and keep the large one for larger cakes etc. I wondered if anyone could recommend a smaller but not too expensive stand mixer. A few people have recommended the Kenwood Prospero but I would be grateful for any further thoughts and reviews.
Many thanks

Hi creativebakes

I have the major as well and find it too big so I use the Kenwood electric hand mixer for smaller cakes. There is lots of discussion here http://www.cakeflix.com/questions/good-quality-stand-mixer and also here

Stand mixers

As for the Prospero, it looks a neat little machine, additional bonus, it’s a Kenwood!!

I have just purchased the Prospero and am very happy with it i make between 2 – 3 cakes a week. it took a little getting used to after having used a Processor but now i would not be with out it. and it comes with liquidizer, grater shredded juicer and more so I think it is a good all rounder and value for money too.
