Apologies to all concerned here as we should have been clearer on the description. We have updated the course notes and for reference Paul used a set of PME Rose Petal Cutters descending from 4cm.
We are very grateful for all the help madeitwithlove offers on the Q&A which is done on a voluntary basis and has helped out with thousands of enquiries which we are forever grateful. We will take note to ensure that the information provided on the course details is more comprehensive in future.
Here’s a link to the cutters …. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Petal-Cutter-Icing-Decoration-Sugarcraft/dp/B00522E6CE/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1361782524&sr=8-2

Kind regards
David

Hi Cassycat

Looks like Paul has a set of five cutters in descending size. If you put in the search box ‘large rose’, I’ve put a link there where to buy them. Hope this helps.

Sorry you didn’t get what you needed. Everyone who replies on here does their best to help and point you in the right direction. However, none of us are experts and can’t be held responsible you didn’t check it was suitable for your needs.

Cassycat,
I think your comments towards madeitwithlove are harsh and uncalled for, she has regularly provided excellent advice and guidance to questions posted. It is your responsibility to ensure that what you purchase is exactly what you need, not hers!

Thank you Doodlecake, as you’ve so rightly said, we just try to be helpful and non of us are experts. If a company has a phone number I invariably call them to make sure that the product is as advertised and suitable for my needs. Cassycat, I set the link for members to make a basic search of that site for set of 5 large rose metal cutters and to discern whether the product was suitable for needs. Perhaps this is something to be taken up with that company, they may have sent you the wrong size in error or may have mis-advertised the size.

Hi Ashandiamo

Your advice is a sensible one, and thank you for your kind words. I do understand from personal experience Cassycat’s. disappointment and would never deliberately inconvenience anyone.

Thanks David. On the subject of people posting links, is there anyway the links in the answers can be made to appear as hyperlinks so we can just click on them? It just appears as standard text (for me anyway) so I have to cut and paste or retype! Thanks.

If you highlight the link and right click it gives you the option of copy or go to the link, hope this helps.
