marzipan alternative

Hi, I’m from the states and was wondering if anyone knows of a marzipan alternative for a cake being made for a person with almond allergies or for someone who just doesn’t like the flavor of almonds?

If you don’t want to use any type of marzipan alternative the cake can be iced with a thin layer of fondant and then iced over with a normal depth fondant. If you need more help just post again.
